Privacy
In short
- This website uses no cookies, no visitor statistics and no advertising.
- The app doesn't send your photos or any other data: everything is processed on your computer.
- We only process your name and email if you buy a license, write to us or ask from the app to be notified of new versions.
- When you activate a paid license, the app sends the key and an anonymous fingerprint of the computer, so that each license works on one computer only.
The website
It is a static website: it has no forms or user accounts, and the fonts are served from the hosting itself, without calling external services. For security, the hosting service may record the IP address of each visit in its technical logs, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Purchases
Licenses are bought through the store indicated on this website, which collects the payment and issues the invoice, and may act as the seller. Your payment details are processed only by the store, according to its privacy policy; we don't see them.
The store tells us your name, your email and what you bought. We use them to send you your license key, give you support and notify you of updates to what you bought. The legal basis is the license agreement. We keep them while the license can be used and, after that, for as long as the law requires.
Activating your license
Each paid license works on one computer only. When you activate it (and when you deactivate it to move it to another computer), the app sends us the license key, which contains the purchase email, an anonymous fingerprint of the computer, the app version, the operating system and the app language. The fingerprint is a code calculated from the identifier the system gives each computer: it doesn't say who you are or which computer it is, it only serves to recognize the same computer. We use them only so that each license works on one computer and so that it can be moved to another one. The legal basis is the license agreement. They are kept in the same spreadsheet in our Google account, for as long as the license can be used.
Support emails
If you write to us, we use your message and your email only to answer you. If you send us the app's “registro.txt” file, we use it only to find the problem and delete it once it is solved.
New version notices
The free version of the app asks you, the first time you open it, whether you want to be notified by email when a new version comes out. Only if you enter your email and tick the box does the app send us your email, the version of the app, the operating system and the language of the app (to write to you in your language). We use them only to send you those notices. The legal basis is your consent. They are stored in a spreadsheet in our Google account, which acts as the data processor, and the notices are sent from our Gmail address. We keep them until you unsubscribe: with the link in each notice, from the app's Help menu or by writing to us.
The app
Easy Corona works without an internet connection. Once activated, the license is checked on your own computer. When it opens, the app checks this website for a new version: it downloads a small file with the number of the latest version and sends none of your data (as with any visit to a website, the hosting service sees the IP address). You can turn this off in the Help menu, with «Check for updates at startup». Otherwise, the app only connects when you choose to: to download and install a new version, to open this website from the License menu, to activate or deactivate your license, to subscribe to or unsubscribe from the new version notices, or to download the practice photos. It keeps the license, your settings and the log in the EasyCorona folder of your user account, and nothing leaves it unless you send it.
Your rights
You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to its processing or take it with you, by writing to zu3run@gmail.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
